Food Science and Engineering
Master's Degree
The Master program of Food Science and Engineering was approved by the Academic Degree Committee of the State Council in 2010. For this master program, Key Laboratory of Animal Protein Food Deep Processing Technology of Zhejiang province and Key Laboratory of Health Food and Marine Drugs of Ningbo City have been established, 11 professors and 10 associate professors are working in the field of storage, processing and high value utilization of aquatic products, meat products, dairy products, fruit and vegetable. Over the past five years, more than 190 scientific research projects and 32 million yuan research funding were supported from government, including more than 40 projects form the nation and more than 40 projects from the province and minister. More than 600 papers have been published and 100 patents for invention have been approved, which including more than 300 papers in SCI/EI. Now, 12 achievements in food science and technology have been awarded by government.
Bioprospecting of Aquatic Resources

The Doctoral program of Bioprospecting of Aquatic Resources is a branch of "Aquaculture", which was approved by the Academic Degree Committee of the State Council in 2012. For this doctoral program, the Key Laboratory of Animal Protein Food Deep Processing Technology of Zhejiang province and Key Laboratory of Health Food and Marine Drugs of Ningbo City have been established, and 8 doctoral supervisors are working for this program. The main research field of this program includes the aquaculture safety and quality, aquaculture biotechnology, and high-value utilization of aquatic resources. Over the past five years, more than 190 scientific research projects and 32 million yuan research funding were supported from the government, including more than 30 projects from the nation and more than 50 projects from the province and ministries. More than 400 papers have been published and 50 patents for inventions have been approved, which includes more than 100 papers in SCI journals. Now, 12 achievements in food science and technology have been awarded by government.
